So, growing up, family has always been the #1 priority to us. Raising our own family has been the best ever, but when they grew up and moved away, I had separation anxiety to its fullest. Seeing them 2 – 3 times a year was not enough for me even though we had FaceTime. After 5 years I had given up on the idea of living by them ever again. That’s when God opened every door for us. Funny how when you trust everything to Him, things start to happen.
We are extremely blessed with three children, a daughter-in-law, two son-in-laws and six grand-children. God is so good! We have been married for 32 years this summer and are very thankful for everything we have. We are looking forward to spending summers in the North and winters in the South. We are hoping to see many adventures along the way and learn as much history as possible. We are looking forward to taking adventures with our family and growing together with our grand kids.
Back home in Michigan, we are leaving a great life of friends and family that we will miss tremendously. We have several church family members that we will be life-long friends with forever, co-workers that we will never forget and all of the great musicians and singers that I have been so blessed to be a part of. We will go back to visit everyone as time permits. Plus that, you can’t beat a Michigan summer.
Thank you for family!
