Much prettier in real life.

We decided to go for a drive to Chiricahau National Monument yesterday only to find out that yes they are open like we researched, but only part of it is. About 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile into the park, there’s a big iron gate that is locked. It’s only about 40-45 degrees out and I’m not dressed for hiking. LOL! That’s ok, we have time before we leave AZ. We can go back another time.

Well, let’s head to Bisbee, AZ we decided. It’s kind of cold outside, but the sun is shining bright and inside the Jeep it’s very toasty. Plenty of healthy snacks and water to keep us satisfied. And off we go… When we arrived at Bisbee, we fell in love with this quaint little town. Museum, shopping, coffee shop, and food. We’re good! Decided to find a place to eat lunch and watch the main street full of tourists. We ate at the Bisbee’s Table restaurant and it was delicious. The Coca-Cola does not taste as good as Michigan’s, but we doctored it up with a lemon and we could drink it. It was super sweet to the taste prior to the lemon. Figured there was no harm in trying the lemon, because I wasn’t going to drink it anyway the way it was. LOL!

So back at home, we had supper later, watched a bit of tv, and called it a night. As we were both falling asleep, we woke up to be startled by sleet hitting the coach. LOL! Like we never heard that before, but when you’re half asleep and in AZ, you leap out of bed thinking of an electrical fire, not winter weather. Not funny at the time, but the after thought of it… I was giggling inside. How your brain works. No fire, it’s only the winter storm warning that was in the news. We did wake up to a skiff of snow on the rooftops today, but it’s still warmer than up North.

Well, that’s all for now. Remember to like, share and follow for the next updated adventure. Until next time friends….
